I found this while searching for a good gluten free mug cake. I already had a few recipes but wanted some variation. I was very disappointed. The author used various types of flour, some of it difficult to find as well as many ingredients with added sugar. I was hoping for something healthy as well as gluten free and would have preferred seeing more recipes with coconut or almond flour rather than sorghum. While I understand that people with celiac and other serious gluten allergies would probably welcome this book and know where to find the ingredients, for me, who is trying to eat fewer carbs, I simply do not have four different types of flour in my pantry. If each recipe had used only one or maybe two types of flour that would not have been so bad. But some used four types!
So if you need to eat gluten free because of serious allergies, I suggest trying this book. Otherwise, if you are trying to simply eat a more healthy diet, look elsewhere.
