Taking the learning cook from the very basics--hardboiled eggs--to more complicated recipes, it presents one month of meals that are cheap, easy and quick to prepare, nutritionally balanced, and tasty. Some vegetarian meals are included. Every student should go to college with this book, particularly if their previous kitchen experience was limited to reheating frozen burritoes.
