I purchased this book with the hopes that it was a book on making, and using, master mixes. (Like, "Mix a Meal", "Make a Mix", and so on) No, this is a book using prepackaged, commercially-prepared mixes. That is fine if you are into that sort of thing, but I'm not, and you could go online and find a bazillion free recipes using cake mixes, soup mixes, dressing mixes, etc. and not spend money on this. That is my recommendation.
