This is a very small book. It has a total of 52 recipes with colored pictures of the finished dishes. The advice in the front of the book seems dated in that it warns about getting enough protein as a vegetarian and suggests putting together complete proteins for a meal, which we now know isn't necessary. Also on one page, it gives instructions on how to reheat food in a conventional oven with no mention of a microwave. I have to wonder in what year was that instruction actually written?
There are some uncommon ingredients in many of the recipes and no explanation in the book about what they are or where to buy them. I know, with the Internet today, we can find that out for ourselves but the title of this book is "Easy Vegetarian", and if I have to research ingredients, it defeats my motivation (laziness) for buying the book. I'm glad I checked it out of the library first. You may want to do the same.
