This is my newest favorite cookbook! I love to read cookbooks, but only really use a few all-time favorites. This is another! I, like the author, have always believed in "from scratch" cooking, only reluctantly turning to "convenience" foods in preparation. But he's right - the technology HAS gotten better, there are more flavorful easy stuff out there, and this book gives great ideas. I've used it almost constantly since I got it a couple of weeks ago, and still reach for it when I'm trying to decide what to fix. Everyone that I've shown it to just can't put it down.
