This cookbook definitely offers meals prepared in under 30 minutes, but at the expense of your wallet. About 85-90% of the recipes include using ready-made, packaged meat and/or pasta. Some included recipes would cost just as much as a restaurant meal. It is a nice cookbook if you keep some of the prepared products on hand for "just in case" you are running out of time and need a quick meal. For someone who already uses a lot of ready-made items, this cookbook would be a wonderful tool to take your usual fare up a notch. I gave it 3 stars for that reason only. Glad this book was in the bargain section for a couple of bucks when I bought it.
