Delicious Diabetic Recipes: The Gourmet Cookbook for a Healthy Life Review
I've been a diabetic for a couple of years, and the food I have to eat is really not all that great. The cookbooks out there have recipes that are safe medically, but I am usually the only one eating those meals because everybody else gets something that tastes so much better. Just got this book and have made several of the recipes and they are just great - really good for the whole family. The author knows what he is talking about - he's a doctor who specializes in special needs cooking, but he is also a graduate master chef of Le Cordon Bleu, the famous cooking school. So you get safe recipes, but so good everybody will want to eat them. My family considers the cookbook just healthy cooking that tastes great. I think of it as finally being able to eat great food and not worry I've broken the diabetic rules.
