Pasta Lovers,
This is one of the greatest pasta cook books on the market today. My father and I are constantly searching for new pasta flavors and this little book is our favorite. My book is so worn and used I have to buy another copy soon. Highlights are the white clam sauce and the meatball sauce.
Try them all with the wine suggestions. You will want to personally thank Coleen and Bob.

This is one incredible cookbook. I love the fact that the recipes are simple and delicious (I think I have tried nearly all of them), but it is the layout and extras offered that make the book especially great. For example, there is a full size colour picture of every dish beside the recipe; each recipe includes a suggested wine; and suitable ingredient substitutions are provided for most recipes.. The beginning of the book lists the staples you need to have for most of the recipes (most of which are stocked in the average kitchen anyway)and at the end of the book there is a breakdown by season of what recipes are best suited given the availability of local produce. Finally, there is a section of the book entitled "leftovers" which lists the recipes within the book which could be used for each type of leftover you may have. I love it!

I have tried out dozens of recipes from this charming book, none have failed. Although the recipes here are all meatless, the book rises above the genre of vegetarian cooking; my carnivor friends have not even noticed the absence of meat. There are, after all, only two kinds of cooking, bad cooking and good cooking, and this book is about good cooking.

After spending a mouthwatering hour perusing this wonderful cookbook my wife and I went out and bought a slow cooker. Easy and delicious stocks, soups and a splendid turkey bolognese sauce were our first efforts. We will be soon be on to other sauces, vegetables, stews and desserts.
Michele Scicolone's instructions are always accurate and easy to follow. Her invention and taste sense make this book a total delight.

This is a very nice Italian cookbook, with interesting insights into Italian food, comprehensible information on gluten and wheat issues and well-written recipes. While obviously a useful book for delicious gluten free cooking, it would be a nice addition to any cook's bookshelf. I have many cookbooks, and am able to eat gluten, but I find myself turning to this book when I want to make something appealing and delicious.

This book is an absolute must if you are into Italian cooking (or even if you just slightly interested). The recipes are delicious and the instructions easy to follow. A cute little intro leads you into each recipe and nutritional data is provided. Of particular interest is the almond biscotti and various pasta sauces. After having made over one-half of the recipes in this book, I can tell you that this cookbook is one you will use again and again.

I no longer want to go out to dinner! Each time I've made one of these recipes, the end result is a meal I'd find at a very good quality restaurant. Every one of the recipes I've tried has been easy to make and delicious. Most of the ingredients were already in my own pantry and freezer. This is a keeper!
